Allergic rhinitis patients associated with migraine: effect of treatment of allergic rhinitis on migrainous attack

Abstract Background Allergy immunology specialists frequently encounter with diagnosis of migraine headache; this is a prospective study to assess the ability treatment allergic rhinitis in patients having decrease attacks migraine. Results Between June 2016 and Feb. 2019, 58 suffer from positive symptoms for all patients. CBC differential, nasal smear IgE test assessment disability score, complete otorhinology examination were done pretreatment 3 months post score know effect on attack The mean age was 40 years old. Age distribution between 18 59 Sex also distributed found 21 males 37 females, showing more presented females. Hemoglobin 10.8 12.4 mg/dl, 11.37 mg/dl; 5 800 IU/ml, 171.29 IU/ml; no included grade I while majority III. We noticed that improved migranous at same time had 43.1% but became less frequent sever 15.52% (partially improved). Patients rhinitis. Grade pain showed statistically significant difference, III moderate difference. level cases around 88.4. Conclusion There strong relation rhinitis; use intranasal corticosteroid sprays oral antihistaminic associated which led prevalence frequency.
